An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement & Contracts Officer to join the IM&T Service Management team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. 

The IM&T department is committed to its forward thinking and dynamic strategy which follows a ‘best of breed’ approach. This involves delivering a number of services to provide staff with the best technology enabling them to deliver more efficient and effective patient care. 

The key purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the IM&T teams and support the day to day processes in managing the procurement and contract expiry’s.

This post requires a reliable, flexible and enthusiastic individual with clerical/administrator experience who is able to administer the procurement for IM&T, liaising with suppliers and keeping documentation up to date. The post holder will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the contracts register, working with Senior IM&T Managers to ensure timely and cost-effective renewals. The candidate must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of Asset Management

You will be required to work with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders at all levels and must possess strong organisational and communication skills. This role will require you to be involved on a number of initiatives at any one time and you should be able to take a proactive approach while multi-tasking and managing priorities.

This post covers the whole of the IM&T teams across Frimley Health NHS FT and the post holder will be required to travel on occasions to a different site.
